Kathamandu Pokhara and Jomsom Muktinath Tour

Kathamandu Pokhara and Jomsom Muktinath program is designed to observe the cultural heritage including world’s heritage sites and mountain from 3700m height . In the visit of Kathmandu, you will see the world temples, stupas, wooden craft , art and sculpture as iconographic belonged to different religions . Furthermore, you will explore the Swyambhunath stupa and Baudhanath stupa which  mainly belongs to Buddhist, Pashupati temple which  belongs to Hindu and old palace with the old monument, wood crat and temples. For example, Swyambhunath, Pashupati, Baudhanath, Pashupati, Patan Darbar Square and Hanumandhoka Durbar Square are the world’s heritage sites where you will explore in Kathamandu Pokhara and Jomsom Muktinath tour.

Likewise, you will explore Pokhara city, a iconic city faced to the Annapurna Himalaya ranges. In Pokhara, you will explore the peace stupa which is situated on the ridge from where the Pokhara valley, Annapurna two, Annapurna three, Lamgung Himal , Fistails and fewa lake can be seen. Only not the city, you will also explore Jomsom and Muktinath , a pilgrim area where Muktinath temple is located in lap of mountain.  The main attraction of Kathamandu Pokhara and Jomsom Muktinath tour is to see the world’s seven highest mountain Dhaulagiri ( 8167m) .  Likewise, you can also see the south Nilgiri, Central Nilgiri and North Nilgiri mountains.   In fact, Kathamandu Pokhara and Jomsom Muktinath  tour is a good combination of  culture, nature and mountains.

 

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you will have time to rest and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short walk around the hotel area to experience local life and culture. Visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

Swayambhunath is one of the oldest and most sacred Buddhist stupas in Nepal, located on a west hilltop of Kathmandu city. The stupa is reached by climbing 365 stone steps, which symbolize the days of the year. From the top, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The stupa’s white dome represents the earth, while the golden spire symbolizes the thirteen stages to enlightenment. The all-seeing eyes of Buddha painted on all four sides reflect wisdom and compassion. The site is also known as the “Monkey Temple” because of the many monkeys living around the complex. Swayambhunath is an important pilgrimage site for both Buddhists and Hindus.

Visit Pashupatinath:

Pashupatinath Temple is the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, this temple complex is a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus from Nepal and India. The temple’s pagoda-style architecture with a golden roof and silver doors is remarkable. Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main temple, but visitors can observe rituals and activities from the eastern bank of the river. The cremation ghats along the Bagmati River offer a powerful insight into Hindu funeral traditions and beliefs about life, death, and rebirth. The area is also home to many Hindu sadhus (holy men).

Visit Baudhanath:

Boudhanath is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The massive white dome symbolizes the universe, while the golden tower represents enlightenment. Surrounding the stupa are monasteries, prayer wheels, and shops selling Tibetan handicrafts. Visitors can walk clockwise around the stupa, spinning prayer wheels and observing monks and pilgrims chanting mantras. The peaceful and spiritual atmosphere, especially during the evening butter-lamp lighting, makes Boudhanath a unique cultural and religious experience.

Visit Patan Darbarsquar:

Patan Durbar Square, located in Lalitpur city, is famous for its fine Newari architecture and artistic heritage. The square is filled with ancient palaces, temples, courtyards, and stone carvings dating back to the Malla period. The main attraction is Krishna Mandir, built entirely of stone with exquisite carvings depicting scenes from Hindu epics. The Patan Museum inside the old royal palace showcases traditional Nepalese art, metalwork, and religious artifacts. Patan Durbar Square reflects the rich cultural history and craftsmanship of the Newar community.

Visit Kathmandu Darbarsqaur:

Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, lies in the heart of the old city. It was once the royal palace of the Malla and Shah kings. The square is surrounded by historic palaces, courtyards, temples, and statues that highlight traditional Nepali architecture. Key attractions include Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (residence of the Living Goddess Kumari), and the Taleju Temple. Walking through the square offers a deep insight into Nepal’s royal history, religious traditions, and daily life of local people. If we are not tired, you will walk to Thamel through Ashon Bazar, an oldest market of Kathmandu.

After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for a scenic flight to Pokhara. The short flight offers beautiful aerial views of hills, rivers, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to your hotel and check in. After hotel check-in, you will drive to Peace stupa to see the fascinating views of Himalaya and Fewa Lake . After that you will visit the fewa lake and walk on the bank of fewa lake.   In the evening time, you enjoy a leisurely walk around Lakeside, Pokhara’s most vibrant area.

After breakfast, we set up for a full-day sightseeing in Pokhara, a city famous for its natural beauty. You will visit Devi’s fall, a unique waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel, followed by Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a sacred cave temple near the waterfall. Then after, we visit the International Mountain Museum to learn about the Himalayas, mountaineering history, and ethnic cultures of Nepal. After learning Himalayas, mountaineering history, and ethnic cultures of Nepal in the International Mountain Museum, you will continue visit to Mahedra cave, a naturally formed under the hilltop. After that you will go the Saragkot hill to see the Sun set and Himalayan rang.  Overnight stay in Pokhara

After having breakfast, you will begin your journey to Muktinath, a sacred site nestled in the lap of the mountains at an altitude of 3,710 meters. Muktinath Temple is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations for Hindus. Around the temple, there are 108 water spouts (often referred to as taps), and in front of the temple lie two holy ponds. It is believed that by worshipping at Muktinath, devotees can cleanse themselves of past sins and attain moksha . In addition to the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, there are also Buddhist monasteries in the area. This reflects a beautiful harmony between Hinduism and Buddhism, making Muktinath a place of spiritual unity as well as devotion.

There are natural hot spring water which are collected by making ponds. The tourists like to deep into the ponds of naturel hot water, believing that the knee pain will get relief. But, as you have a limited time, you will not stop to deep into the ponds of natural water.

Rupse waterfall is very impressive waterfall. This waterfall can be observed from the day to Muktinath.

Explore the Muktinath temple in the early morning, and drive back to Pokhara memorizing the beauties of beautiful scene.

After having breakfast, you will fly for Kathmandu. After getting to Kathmandu,  you will be free for shopping.
