Day 1 : Arrival to Kathmandu
You will check into your lodging after reaching Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and have some time to recuperate and get ready for the following trip.
Day 2: Planning for the Trek and Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The purpose of today is to tour Kathmandu’s most important historical and cultural sites. Visit places like Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Temple that are included as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will also complete your trek preparations, including acquiring the required permits and supplies.
Day 3 : Drive to Arughat
From Kathmandu, you will travel through beautiful countryside to Arughat, where the Tsum Valley Trek begins. You will pass through beautiful scenery and typical Nepali villages during the approximately 8 to 9 hour drive.
Day 4: Trek to Soti Khola

When you leave Arughat and travel to Soti Khola, the actual journey begins. You will experience the natural beauty of the area on this day’s trip, which offers breathtaking views of terraced farms and the Budi Gandaki River.
Day 5: Trek to Machha Khola.
You will trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola by continuing on the path. You can fully experience the local culture by traveling across suspension bridges and through quaint villages along the route.
Day 6: Trek to Dobhan
You will trek from Machha Khola to Dobhan on this day. A peek at the Himalayan flora and animals can be seen as the trail meanders through lush woodlands.
Day 7: Trek to Philim
You pass through picturesque landscapes dotted with rhododendron trees and waterfalls on the journey from Dobhan to Philim. Philim is a charming village where you can observe the local way of life and get to know the kind locals.
Day 8:Trek to Chumling
After leaving Philim, you will travel to Chumling. You will have beautiful vistas of the Ganesh Himal and Shringi Himal hills throughout this day’s walk.
Day 9: Trek to Chhokangparo.
You will hike further along your route to Chhokangparo. The trail gives expansive views of the surrounding mountains as it travels through charming communities.
Day 10: Trek to the Nile/Chhule
The trek today brings you to Nile/Chhule, where you may see the historic Milarepa’s Cave and take in the meditative atmosphere.
Day 11: Tsum Valley exploration day You’ll spend the day discovering the Tsum Valley’s beauties. This is a chance to explore monasteries, talk to people, and become fully immersed in the area’s cultural heritage.
Day 12: Trek to Mu Gompa
You will hike to Mu Gompa, one of the highest towns in the area, as you continue your adventure. Yaks can be seen grazing in the high-altitude meadows along the route, and you’ll get to take in panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Day 13: hike to Rachen Gompa

You will walk from Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa, a significant Buddhist temple in the Tsum Valley. The monastery is well known for its collection of vintage artwork and relics.
Day 14: A trek to Dumje
You will climb from Rachen Gompa to Dumje, a charming town tucked away among terraced fields and surrounded by breathtaking peaks.
Day 15: Trek to Philim
You’ll follow your original route back to Philim while passing by well-known towns and scenery.
Day 16:Trek to Tatopani
You must hike from Philim to Tatopani, a region renowned for its hot springs. After several days of hiking, this is the ideal time to unwind and recharge.
Day 17:Trek to Soti Khola
You will travel from Tatopani back to Soti Khola as you continue your descent, taking one final opportunity to take in the trail’s breathtaking scenery.
Day 18: Return to Kathmandu by car
Your trip through the Tsum Valley comes to an end on the last day of the hike, which entails a drive from Soti Khola back to Kathmandu.
