Chola pass, Gokyo Lake and Renjola Pass is one of the adventure trekking destinations of Everest region.. This is not only an adventure trek, it is also a panoramic trekking destination where we can enjoy looking the breathtaking view of snow-covered mountains from all most 360 degree. Not only that we will do two high pass at the same trekking. Besides , we will also explore the Khumbu valley and Gokyo Lake during the same journey. During entire journey, we can see the magnificent views of of Mt-Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Nuptse, Makalu, Pumari, Chhoyu, Baruntse, Thamserku, Island peak, Labuche Peak, Cholatse and Kongde mountains. In this trek, we have to explore the area of Everest base camp and the area of Gokyo Lake. Following the same path to go to Everest base camp, we will first go to Dingbuche and Labuche, but we don’t go to Everest Base camp. After exploring the site of Dingbuche and Labuche, we will go to Gokyo Lake via Chola pass. We have to cross the Chola pass which is a 5420m height. The chola pass may be the big achievement in our life because it is not sure that whether we will do the same trekking in life. After getting to Chola pass we will be heading to Gokyo Lake via Gokyo Glacier. In the next morning we will climb up Gokyo Ri mountain (5480 M) which is known as a view point from where we can stunning scene of mountains and Gokyo Glacier from all most 360 degree. After exploring the site of Gokyo Lake, we will go to the area of Renjola Pass and then we will ultimately arrive in Namche Bazzar from the west direction.
You will go to Ramechhap airport by jeep . The jeep takes about 3-4 hours and you will stay overnight in Ramechhap. The reason of going to Ramechhap airport earlier is to be safe from traffic jam of Kathamandu airport. If you go to Ramechhap airport one day earlier, the airline makes the flight for Ramechhap -Lukla as per schedule.
